Kuiseb Fishing Enterprises (Pty) Ltd’s core business is catching, processing & value addition, marketing, distribution and cold storage. Catching is done through Hodago Fishing (Pty) Ltd an entity in which Kuiseb has 45% shareholding.
Processing and value addition as well as marketing and distribution is conducted through its subsidiary, Kuiseb Food Processors (Pty) Ltd.
Naras Investment Business Centre(Pty) Ltd owns facilities which house Kuiseb Fishing Enterprises (Pty) Ltd. with all its subsidiaries. This entity also accommodates SMEs by providing them rental space at affordable rates. The premises is also located in prime next to the harbour and centrally positioned in relation to major fishing companies and industries within Walvis Bay.
Due to its location, it was thought prudent to seize the opportunity and set up a Cold Store. NIB Cold Storage (Pty) Ltd offers cold storage facilities for various entities at the coastal town of Walvis Bay.
The services are being upscaled and future developments are at an advanced stage to branch out elsewhere in Namibia.
